How to install - Open app (if not already running):
Select Chess 2026 in the Windows Start menu or double-click the app icon on the desktop. - Start game:
Select Start → New single-player game. The Start menu is in the upper left corner of the app. - Make moves:
Point and click the piece to be moved, point and click the destination square. Drag & drop also works. - Check status:
The status of the game is displayed in the lower left corner of the window.
